TTLog participation in the global campaign #IamIgniting by PTV Group

Mr. Ioannis Karakikes, member of the Traffic Transportation and Logistics Laboratory (TTLog), participated in the global campaign #IamIgniting by PTV Group.#IamIgniting campaign aims at highlighting the exceptional work that the customers and partners are doing with PTV’s traffic software solutions.

Mr. Karakikes presented a part of his PhD research regarding the identification and evaluation of urban freight solutions around the port of Volos city, Greece. The results show that applying a real-time online system is the most efficient solution, while all three considered solutions combined can bring an impressive 20,92 per cent improvement in the transport network around the city port in 2030.
